We also invite students to experience our campuses virtually with the resources below: Front Range has new degrees being offered. Read more about them below:
New Degrees • FRCC is the first community college in Colorado to offer an Associate of Engineering Science (AES) degree! This degree is designed to be the first two years of a bachelor’s degree, enabling students to transfer to a university with only their junior and senior years left to complete. This degree will transfer to the Colorado School of Mines, Colorado State University-Fort Collins, University of Colorado-Boulder, University of Colorado-Denver, and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs. • FRCC is offering a A.A. in Health Sciences for students who are thinking about applying to our Nursing Program (pre-nursing). The A.A. in Health Sciences helps students complete the prerequisites needed to apply for our Nursing Program and for students pursuing nutrition, public health, dental hygiene, sonography, human services, etc. • Starting in 2024 students who want to pursue the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) professional credential will be required to have a M.S. degree. Therefore, FRCC is partnering with MSU-Denver to offer a program where students work towards an A.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics from FRCC. Students continue this pathway and earn two degrees from MSU Denver – a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Page 2 of 3 • The FRCC Westminster Campus has partnered with the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) to offer a pathway for students to become an ASL – English Interpreter (ASLEI) through an A.A. in American Sign Language (ASL) & Deaf Studies. Interested students will first complete the A.A. and then have the option to transfer to UNC for their Bachelor of Arts program for ASLEI. The Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf now requires a bachelor’s degree to sit for the national interpreter certification exam and this program partnership will teach students the content to be prepared for the exam. Apprenticeships – Earn while you learn! • FRCC Apprenticeships are a great way for students to get an education while also earning an income with practical real-world experience. FRCC offers amazing apprenticeships in health care, manufacturing, tree care, and will soon be offering programs in technology. Most of these apprenticeships take 20 weeks to complete and students are paid the entire time! • The student experience – A Healthcare Apprentice's Journey Toward a Fulfilling Career Are you interested in attending Emory University, Rice University, University of Michigan or the University of Washington?
